Youth Track Summaries

Jerome Ocampo

Rev. Jerome Ocampo is currently serving as senior pastor at Jesus Flock and leads in the vision of the Jesus Revolution.
Jerome along with other young folk, started a student centre which was the beginnings of Jesus’ Flock. One year after the church was officially registered (1984), the Jesus Flock Academy was born, a Christian school for elementary and high school students. He also started a rescue mission for the street children at the same time. Jerome then felt God call to ministries of the whole body of Christ such as the first march for Jesus and the 24 hour praise and worship Celebrate Jesus. He spearheaded the Worship 2000 gathering in Marikina City and the Outcry Philippines 2001 in University of the Philippines. In Luneta Park, he mobilized the youth and their parents, pastors & church leaders for a time of prayer and fasting for the nation through what is known as the Jesus Revolution Now!
Jerome is married to Annabelle and they have three sons

Olgavaro Bastos JR

Olgavaro Bastos Jr is the coordinator for Tribal Generation throughout Latin America. He is also one of the councillors of Go To The Nations Mission Project, in which he is responsible for the Emergent Generation subjects.
Olgalvaro has always been encouraged to think about the church as a living and dynamic subject which is constantly transforming. He has worked with artistic forms of expressions, using art as a weapon of evangelism, such as dance, theatre, music and sports. Olgalvaro worked as a missionary in Edinburgh – Scotland for a year. He now takes part in the Salt of Church Ministry council where he is in charge of the Communications Department as well as coordinating the Uberlandia City church ministry, where the main characteristic is the evangelism acting. Strategies used include Small Groups and new church planting, which as a target to plant 250 by 2015. Olgalvaro has been ministering in ways to build up new church leaders in Brazil and thoughout Latin America, aiming to plant churches for this new generation reality.
Olgalvaro is married to Fabiana for 13 years and has three children.

Gabriella Nagy

Gabriella Nagy was born and has been living in Budapest, Hungary, where she is part of a vibrant Christian and a progressive Jewish youth community.
Gabi simply enjoys BEING, being a daughter of God, her life, friends, nature and sports. Over the years she has been influenced by many "older" believers and she (30) is committed to pour into the younger generation. Gabi makes ends meet by teaching English to business people and by occasional translation and interpreting jobs. Her passion for the Church is to see the Church relate in a John 13:34-35 style and affirm the Jewish people by blessing them.

Jaeson Ma

Jaeson Ma currently functions as the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Asian Digital Ventures Network (ADVN), a global media and entertainment company.
In addition, he currently oversees and supports the leadership of an international house church network called “GBS” based in Los Angeles, CA. In 1998, Jaeson founded Campus Church Networks with the mission to cultivate church planning movements. Under their motto of Every Campus, Every City, Every Nation for Christ, Jaeson travelled to every corner of the world, preaching to and inspiring thousands with a message of hope and passion for Jesus. After building a strong foundation for his ministry, Jaeson received a calling from God to reach out to the entertainment industry as a messenger of the gospel. The recording booth has now become his new pulpit and his music serves as a new vehicle for preaching the truth. Jaeson foresees continuing his speaking ministries and church planting efforts and hopes to start other compassion ministries that care for orphanages or advocates for the issue of life and other social justices.

Loren Cunningham

Dr. Loren Cunningham is the Founder of Youth With A Mission (YWAM), which was created in 1960 and has since reached into every nation of the world.
The work of YWAM encompasses evangelism, training and mercy ministries. YWAM is manned by Nearly 20,000 full-time staff from more than 150 nationalities. More than four million students, short-term volunteers and staff have served with YWAM since its inception. Loren is also one of three founders and the President of the University of the Nations (YWAM’s global university), and the leader of the Kona Campus in Hawaii. Loren has personally gone to every sovereign nation on earth, all dependent countries, and more than 150 territories and islands. He speaks publicly in 30 – 40 nations a year, and has spoken to live audiences from only a few people to more than a million people gathered in one location. Loren was born in Taft, California and comes from a family rich with generations of Christian ministries. He is also the author of five books.

Dion Forster

Dr Dion Forster is an ordained Minister in the Methodist Church of Southern Africa.
He is a marketplace minister and academic. He currently serves as the Chaplain to the Global Day of Prayer and the Power Group of Companies in Cape Town South Africa. Dion was formerly the Dean of the John Wesley College, the seminary of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa. Dion still teaches theology, and is a research associate in Systematic Theology at the University of Stellenbosch (BUVTON). He also serves as the ‘social media coordinator’ for the Lausanne movement leading up to the Third Lausanne Congress in Cape Town (October 2010). Dion holds a Ph.D in Theology and Science (neuroscience, artificial intelligence and identity). Dion’s most recent book on marketplace ministry, written with Graham Power, ‘Transform your work life: Turn your ordinary day into an extraordinary calling’ will be launched at the GDOP Conference.
Dion is married to Megan and they have two children

Harold Gondwe

Harold Gondwe is currently the Assistant Pastor at Living Hope Church (Pentecostal Assemblies of God Zambia). He is also the National Coordinator for MANI and GDOP in Zambia.
Harold has served as Youth Worker for Scripture Union Zambia. He opened five offices during the same time. He has served for 20 years with SU. He writes youth devotion book called khula for SU in Southern Africa. He is also served as Youth Director in PAOG Zambia for 4 years.
Harold is married to Wachilambo and they have two children. He celebrated 10 years of marriage in April this year

Francois de Kock (Better known as Cois) currently serves as Founder and Director of Pneumatix.
Pneumatix exists to equip young individuals with the skill to manage life-change through training and ministry in order to: • Determine their real purpose in life, • Influence their community and its destiny, • Help transform the needy and less fortunate in Africa and abroad. Cois was born in 1971, he was an only child and grew up as pastor’s child. He has lived all across Southern Arica. Cois became involved with youth work while in High School. The first youth movement he was involved with was ‘Youth on the Move” - 400 kids, the then become involved in Dunamis Youth Ministry. During this time Cois started dreaming about starting a Full time Youth Training School. He went to study at The University of Pretoria and then the University of Johannesburg to complete his BA, BA Theol, BA Theol HONS. Cois then served as youth Director/Pastor at 2 churches before he founded Pneumatix (www.pnxglobal.com) in 1999. Cois is also a visionary leader: NEOS (Family Church)(www.neosfamily.co.za) since March 2009.
Cois is married to Corne and they have two children
